Congratulations to our 2021 Recipients!

Wheat Belt Public Power District is pleased to announce our Scholarship and Touchstone Award recipients for the 2020-2021 school year.  We wish all students success in their future endeavors.

Wheat Belt PPD, Basin Electric Power Cooperative, Tri-State Generation and Transmission and Arbor Wealth Management team up each year to offer several scholarships to support students with continuing education.  Our 2021 Scholarship recipients are:
     Danielle Higgins - $1,000 Basin Scholarship
     Felicity Beyer - $500 Tri-State Scholarship
     Cole Faessler - $500 Tri-State Scholarship
     Cole Coss - $500 Wheat Belt Scholarship
     Cade Loomis - $500 Wheat Belt Scholarship
     Brady Newkirk - $100 Arbor Wealth Scholarship

Each year, schools within our service territory are invited to select two high school students for outstanding performance in alignment with Touchstone values of integrity, accountability, innovation and community.  One is awarded for scholastic achievements and the other is awarded for athletic achievements.  Our 2021 Touchstone Award recipients are:
     Bridgeport:  Chance Cooper (S) and Cole Faessler (A)
     Creek Valley:  Grace Greenwood (S) and Justin Ningen (A)
     Garden County:  Chesney Stanczyk (S) and Maddie Lake (A)
     Leyton:  Hannah Vath (S) and Zackry Henke (A)
     Sidney:  Adarsha Ganesan (S) and Morgan Jaggers (A)
     South Platte:  Brittany Hensley (S) and Mariah Koenen (A)
